Hello CREW Calgary.  As we enter our 4th year of incorporation, we have many reasons to celebrate.  Our membership is as strong as ever - we have amassed the most dynamic group of women in the industry with representation from areas such as law, finance, development, property management, leasing, design and engineering - to name just a few!

To date, 2008 has been full of amazing CREW events - notably the successful CREW Network Spring Council Meeting held in Calgary which hosted 200 Network members from 55 different Chapters and our most recent Social Event - the 3rd Annual CREW Calgary Golf Day.  I am pleased to report that our Events Committee raised $530 to donate to the Calgary Women's Shelter by introducing some creative golf day mulligan and rent-a-ringer ticket sales.  

This organization provides not only the networking contacts needed to complete a commercial real estate transaction from start to finish, it also provides a community for women in the industry.  We share similar experiences and are able to learn from one another as we move through our careers.  In the second half of 2008 we look forward to a tour of Remington's Quarry Park Development, a New Member Breakfast and our AGM in the fall as well as our Christmas Event for Members Only to be held November 25th.  Please check the website for ongoing updates on these and other events.
