Membership Requirements
New Member Qualifications
- You must be actively engaged in a substantially full time position in the commercial real estate industry. Principal Members are members with 5 or more years experience; Candidate members are members with at least 2 years experience, or at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
- Submit the online application form and upload one (1) sponsorship reference letter from a current CREW Calgary Member or a business associate that is active in the commercial real estate industry. Annual membership fee for 2012 is $365 for the calendar year ($315 after July 1) plus GST (GST #814266474RT0001). Memberships expire annually on December 31.
- Applications for membership are subject to review and approval by the Membership Committee or the Directors, who may approve/disapprove an applicant in their sole and reasonable discretion, taking into account, among other factors, the need to balance the membership as to (i) the type of commercial real estate industry represented, and (ii) the number of organizations represented.
Affiliate Membership Requirements
- Annual Affiliate Membership Fee for 2012 is $1,500 for the calendar year ($1,250 after July 1) plus GST (GST #814266474RT0001). Affiliate Memberships expire annually on December 31.
- Approved Affiliate Membership applicants will be invoiced by CREW Network and provided directions to register their account and make payment of the Annual Membership Fee.
- Affiliate Member Company must provide support to, or be affiliated with commercial real estate.
- Affiliate Member Company must maintain an established reputation in the business community and commercial real estate industry.
- Affiliate Company’s account must be in good standing.
- Affiliate Representative cannot serve as an Officer or Director of CREW Calgary.
- Affiliate Company must notify CREW Calgary if it appoints a replacement Affiliate Representative.
- In the event an Affiliate company becomes insolvent or dissolves, the Affiliate Company shall notify CREW Calgary within thirty (30) days and the Affiliate Membership will be terminated without compensation to the Affiliate Company.
