CREW Annual Volunteer Night

The first CREW event of the New Year!

We will be at Making Changes Employment Association of Alberta, volunteering in the Walk-in Closet and My Best Friend’s Closet. Both stores provide referred women and teens experiencing financial barriers with appropriate clothing for work and school.

This is a free, members-only event and a great opportunity to give back to the community while networking with fellow CREW members. We will be steaming and sorting and putting the clothing donations out on the rack so that they are ready for their new owners.

CREW members are reminded that “someone’s future is hanging in your closet” and that this organization gratefully accepts the following gently used items:

Walk-in Closet

• Women’s business & business casual clothing
• Shoes, dress boots
• Handbags, portfolios, jewelry and belts
• Coats, scarves, and gloves
• New and gently used bras
• New undergarments
• New hosiery
• New cosmetics

My Best Friend’s Closet

• Jeans, pants, leggings, skirts, athletic wear
• T-shirts, tank tops, hoodies, cardigans, sweaters, vests, blouses
• Shoes and boots
• Accessories
• Jackets
• Toiletries (unopened)
• Brand new undergarments
• Lace up running shoes sizes 5-11 are urgently needed
