Join us for lunch and a tour of Calgary's stunning new Central Library!

CREW Calgary is thrilled to host our first event of 2019 at Calgary's new Central Library in East Village. Lauded for its unique design and innovative features by Architectural Digest, singing the building’s praises as one of the “libraries of the future.”

YOUR ITINERARY

The January 17 extended lunch hour tour will start with networking and lunch, followed by a short presentation from key contributors of the library project team. Consultants include Dialog design and the library operations and finance teams. 

A 45-minute tour will follow lunch, giving groups the opportunity to explore the striking and thought-provoking areas of the building.  The experts will accompany groups,  highlighting areas that proved challenging, unique, and architecturally compelling.

• 12:30 - 12:40pm            Welcome & Introductions
• 12:40 - 1:00pm              Presentations by Consultant Team (architectural, engineering, financing).
• 1:00 - 1:45pm                4 Tours led by CPL staff and 1 Consultant per group

This event is open to non-members and is a great opportunity to invite clients, colleagues, and others interested in seeing what CREW is all about.
