Lunch & Learn: Affordable Housing and Housing Affordability

Wednesday, Jun 19, 2019

What is Affordable Housing and Housing Affordability, and how does it apply to commercial real estate and to cities as a whole?

Affordable housing and housing affordability are different from each other but related. Learn about them and how they apply to commercial real estate and to cities as a whole. Please join CREW Calgary for an intriguing panel discussion over lunch at the beautifully restored Hudson in downtown Calgary.

The panel will be moderated by CREW’s Gillian Lawrence, General Manager, Land Development at Remington Development Corporation.

The panel members will be comprised of diverse people from the building industry:

  • Grace Lui, Director, Strategic Initiatives & Government Relations, BILD.
  • Frances Martin-DiGiuseppe, Principal and Founder, Q4 Architects
  • Sarah Woodgate - President of Calgary Housing Company and Director of Calgary Housing, The City of Calgary
  • Wenting Wu -  Financial Analyst, Brookfield Properties.

You can read more about all our speakers HERE.

Our venue is located on the sixth floor of Hudson’s Bay’s heritage building. Hudson boasts impressive design and large windows that command stunning views of downtown Calgary’s historic district. Enjoy mouth watering catering by The Guild Restaurant, one of the latest steakhouses by Oliver & Bonacini.

This is an event open to CREW members, non-members and students. Please invite your colleagues and associates to join us for this thought-provoking panel and networking opportunity.
