Re-imagining Calgary’s Next Great City Neighborhood

Thursday, Jun 24, 2021

Join CREW Calgary as CMLC’s Kate Thompson (President and CEO) and Amber Osadan-Ullman (Senior Development Manager) share their latest updates on what exciting transformations are happening in our City.

As Master Developers of the Rivers District, CMLC is an entrepreneurial group of hands-on doers and place makers. Their approach is rooted in community participation and designed to strengthen the connections between places, experiences and people. Over the past ten years, they’ve transformed East Village into one of the most anticipated neighborhoods in Calgary and they're just getting started.

Turning their focus south to east Victoria Park, CMLC’s biggest city-building projects include the BMO Centre expansion, Event Centre, Arts Commons Transformation and the extension of 17th Avenue into Stampede Park. Learn how they are re-imagining east Victoria Park into Calgary’s next great city neighborhood, the Culture + Entertainment District.
