Bow Valley Development Tour

Join CREW Calgary for an exciting day trip out to Canmore and Banff with special guests from QuantumPlace, The Town of Banff and Liricon Capital to learn about the developments of Three Sisters Mountain Village and the Town of Banff.

This impressive tour will include special guests Jessica Karpat and Chris Ollenberger, of QuantumPlace Developments Ltd, who will tour us through the development of Three Sisters Mountain Village.  Following that, Mayor Di Manno and Randall McKay from the Town of Banff, along with Jan Waterous, of Liricon, will discuss all the exciting developments happening in Banff.

We will start off in Calgary and head to Canmore to tour around Three Sisters Mountain Village including Stewart Creek and Gateway at Three Sisters where we will learn about the future development of the Three Sisters Village resort.  We will stop for lunch and have some time to mingle at Rhythm & Howl located in the renovated MTN House by BaseCamp.  Then we are off to Banff, where we will meet up with Mayor Di Manno and Randall McKay, from the Town of Banff, and take in a walking tour while hearing about their sustainability initiatives.  We will end at the Banff Train Station where we will learn more about the Banff Railway Area Redevelopment Plan.  After a full day of information and networking we will head back to Calgary.

Agenda for the day:

8:30-9:00 – Meet at Meeting Point (Shouldice Athletic Park - parking lot beside Encana Field)

9:00-10:00 – Drive to Canmore (light breakfast will be provided)

10:00-11:15 – Tour Three Sisters Mountain Village

11:15-1:00 – Lunch and Network @ Rhythm & Howl (MTN House by Base Camp)

1:00-1:45 – Bus to Banff

1:45-3:00 – Walking tour with Mayor Di Manno and Randall McKay

3:00-4:00 – Presentation on Banff Railway Station on Banff Railway Area Redevelopment Plan from Jan Waterous of Liricon

4:30-6:00 – Bus back to Calgary (snacks to be provided)
