Looking to learn best practices for assessing the negotiation landscape and effectively approaching different types of negotiations, recognizing why negotiations become imbalanced, understanding when (and how) to ask questions and share information, diffuse gambits, and use silence effectively.

Join CREW Calgary and learn from Donna Price, a Mount Royal University Instructor for the Contract Management Extension Certificate and Business Law for Contract Management Extension Certificate programs, about how to elevate your negotiation game.

This development session will be targeted towards senior level professionals and covering topics on:

• Increasing awareness of your negotiation style, profiling counterparts, and developing strategies to use with each profile.

• Better managing the balance of power in a negotiation.

• Enhancing essential behavioural techniques to influence the outcome of a negotiation.

• Leveraging newly created value while minimizing value leakage in negotiation.

• Impactful responses to powerful negotiation tactics used by your counterparts.

• Upholding strong ethics and building long-term relationships while negotiating.

Doors will open at 11:30am for registration and a lunch buffet and the development session will start at noon.

Registration closes June 5 at 4pm. 

Should this event not sell out, registration will open to Non-Members on May 30 at 8am.
