Gillian Lawrence appointed to CREW Network Board

We are very proud to announce CREW Calgary's very own Gillian Lawrence's appointment to the CREW Network's 2017 Board of Directors.

Six women were elected to the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network Board of Directors, which will be led by President Alison Beddard in 2017. The announcement was made at the 2016 CREW Network Convention and Marketplace, held October 19-22 at the New York Hilton Midtown. Beddard and the other members of the 2017 board will officially take office in January.

“In CREW Network's envisioned future, women will achieve parity in opportunity, influence and power in the commercial real estate industry globally,” Beddard said. “I am thrilled to lead this team of industry leaders providing our members a trusted platform for business opportunities through technology, a diverse network, leadership training and career advancement in 2017 and beyond.”

Gillian Lawrence, Director, is the General Manager of Land Development at Remington Development Corporation, a privately owned full service development company headquartered in Calgary, Canada. She joined the company in 2006 as the Director of Planning and was promoted to General Manager of Land Development in 2013. A member of CREW Calgary since 2006, Lawrence is a Past President and has served on the CREW Calgary Board since 2013. Prior to her role on the Board, she chaired CREW Calgary’s Education and Events Committee. Lawrence is the third Canadian to serve on the CREW Network Board of Directors.
