Board Member Profile: Allana Murray, Treasurer

I have been a member with CREW Calgary since January 2016 and have served as a general committee member for the events committee and the membership committee. I am becoming very familiar with the CREW organization and members, and have been enjoying the networking and new relationships with the commercial real estate industry. I work at Catalyst, a professional services firm based in Calgary that specializes in serving owner managed, businesses and deals extensively in the design and implementation of business growth and succession strategies by providing assurance and accounting, tax, wealth and financing advisory as well as valuation and M&A services. My professional experience and services include consulting owners/managers and executives in the commercial real estate industry from an income tax, commodity tax perspective and assist with financing options and personal tax. I have previous Board of Director experience as the Treasurer of Gateway Theatre in Richmond BC. CREW is a great organization because it promotes and supports inclusion of women in an industry that is often labelled as being a “non-traditional industry” for women. I am interested returning in the role as Treasurer because I would like to continue to be active in the organization and apply my professional experience and skills expertise to directly benefit the CREW Calgary Board and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
My free time is spent with my family, travelling when I can, and doing any activity that will get me outdoors.
