During University I had the best summer job working for Princess Tours in the Canadian Rockies, it was because of that job that I vowed that as long as I could control the outcome I would strive to find a job I loved. I have now been with Haworth (Commercial Interiors Manufacturer of moveable walls, raised floor and furniture) for over 11 years and it is because of the people and projects that I love what I do. I believe that being authentic and staying true to your values builds trust over time.
Having the opportunity to work on commercial interiors projects that are interesting and multifaceted is what challenges me. I am fortunate that I have a role at Haworth that allows me to work with architects, designers, general contractors and project managers on many different types of projects and utilize my product knowledge and design background.
A CREW member in my second year, I have already learned about and met several talented women in commercial real estate. I find the best way to get to know people is to get involved. Having participated in the 2016 & 2017 CREW Golf Tournaments, I feel my strengths in this area can continue to be used to elevate the golf experience and to help support the CREW Calgary Chapter. I am once again looking forward to being the co-chair and to another exciting tournament in 2018!
