U of C and University District Event Recap

June's event kicked off at the Hotel Alma where the group was split between a walking tour of the University of Calgary campus' new infrastructure and additions or a bus tour of the University District community development. Each tour lasted about 45 minutes, after which attendees switched and completed their second tour. Each tour was led by a fantastic and knowledgeable guide who clearly outlined just how much time and effort goes into a development like this iconic Calgary landmark. 

Following the tours, everyone gathered for another short presentation that tied everything together and allowed for questions from our group. As always, the catering was exceptional and attendees had the opportunity to wander around the Hotel Alma Senate Room as they mingled.
