Event Recap: Cameos & Cocktails

Back by popular demand, CREW Calgary hosted a Cameos and Cocktails evening on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 where participants had the opportunity to update their professional headshots. The much-loved Calgary photographer, Phil Crozier, and his team provided an opportunity for participants to snap both professional and softer, more casual headshots. The architectural beauty of Venue 308, complete with gorgeous brick walls, provided a beautiful backdrop for the evening and may have inspired a few to update their home décor. In between picture sessions, participants networked with cocktails in hand while friendly cater-waiters offered delicious platers of appetizers provided by Fork & Farm. Not to be missed, the CREW signature cocktail of the evening was a refreshing concoction of gin, cranberry juice, and Prosecco.

CREW Calgary also took advantage of this evening to celebrate Gillian Lawrence and Sue Paton as they were inducted as the 104^th and 107^th CREW Network Foundation Visionaries. They individually reached $10,000 USD in lifetime giving, becoming the second and third Canadians to achieve this goal. Attendees were happy to celebrate Gillian and Sue’s important accomplishment.
