2023 Governance & Nomination Committee Applications Now Open

CREW Calgary is looking for two (2) members for the Governance & Nomination Committee. The Governance and Nomination Committee is responsible for compiling the slate of the 2024 CREW Calgary President-elect and 2024 new Board of Directors for approval by the membership. The Committee will be chaired by the 2023 CREW Calgary President and includes the 2023 CREW Calgary President Elect and Past-President along with two members.
Serving on the Committee is an excellent way to increase your understanding of and exposure to CREW Calgary and CREW Network. Selecting the slate for the following year impacts the future of CREW Calgary and is both a great responsibility and a rewarding experience.
Candidate Qualifications:
- May not currently hold positions on the Board and will be ineligible to stand for election as an Officer or Director on the Board in the 2024 calendar year;
- Must be members of CREW Calgary in good standing for a minimum of one (1) year;
- Will be selected based on the same evaluation criteria identified in the Nomination Policy for selection of Board nominees; and
- Available on select dates in July, August and September to meet with fellow committee members to finalize the application package and to review applications received after the submission deadline. In-person or virtual interviews may be required with qualifying applicants.
