CREW Calgary Event Recap: Q1 2024
The first quarter of 2024 has come to a close and there have been some great opportunities for the CREW Calgary network to participate in!
January:
AMA Series – Emergency Preparedness Planning: Melissa Kesegic with Paul Davis shared information on how to prepare for an emergency big or small at home and in the office.
February:
Communicate with Impact – Top Tips You Can Try Today: CREW Calgary members attended a lunch & learn put on by Pam Brandt, Certified Coach in Leadership and Communication. Pam shared tips and tricks on how to excel and advance our communication skills when speaking in meetings, through our emails and through conversations with peers and leaders.
Leap Into CREW: New CREW Calgary members enjoyed an evenings with drinks, appetizers, and a unique opportunity to acquaint themselves with our Board of Directors, Membership Committee, and other new members of our Calgary chapter.
March:
International Women’s Day Dine Around: CREW Calgary Members enjoyed breakfast at five different locations throughout the city and celebrated International Women’s Day with their fellow members and friends.
Mentor Training & Mentorship Kickoff:
AMA Series – Strategic Spaces: Navigating the Ins and Outs of Workplace Strategy: Another great AMA event hosted by one of our sponsors, Colliers, where we had a chance to learn the ins and outs of Workplace Strategy and how the process focuses on improvements in the workplace in order to drive business outcomes.
Fifth Avenue Place Tenant Amenity Space Tour: Brookfield Properties, a sponsor, hosted an informative tour and event in their new tenant amenity space on the 34th Floor of Fifth Avenue Place, where we heard from Gensler, the design firm, who touched on the design of the space as well as the trends in Amenities space in Commercial Real Estate and the Marketing and Leasing teams at Brookfield. The information session and tour followed up with a chance to network with our peers in the beautiful Tenant Lounge.
