Discover and discuss how Calgary’s Green Light Rapid Transit (LRT) proposal may boost your business. CREW Members and Non-Members are welcome!

Calgary is evolving into a sustainable, vibrant and world-class destination. The proposed Green Line integrates land use planning and transit planning to create livable and sustainable communities. The Green Line will stimulate jobs during construction, potentially becoming a catalyst for new business and development around Green Line stations adding 40 new kilometers of track to the LRT system.

Businesses are moving towards operating in employment and industrial centres along the Green Line LRT, such as Quarry Park. Continuing to provide public transit and other mobility options will be key to ensuring Calgary remains sustainable and economically viable as it evolves. It will offer direct connections to the new South Health Campus, new recreation centres, major employment centres, the new $168 million National Music Centre, the new $245 million Central Library, Stampede Park, and several business revitalization zones. The Green Line will also integrate with future rail connection to the Calgary International Airport, which is in the midst of a $2 billion expansion.
