CREW Calgary recently hosted a lunch and learn event called “Leveraging Your Strengths”, which featured Mary Moran, the President and CEO of Calgary Economic Development; it was a smashing success! Gathering at the Marriott Hotel downtown, over 80 CREW Calgary members and guests attended the noon-hour presentation and networking event.
The highlight of the event was Mary Moran’s presentation. Mary spoke passionately about her role and the impactful work of Calgary Economic Development, illustrating examples of the ‘Building Our Energy’ campaign, providing key strategies to diversify Calgary and strengthen the future of our economy, and sharing market insights relating to the recovery and long-term growth of the commercial real estate industry in Alberta. Mary used humour, honesty, and depth of experience to captivate the audience.
