Hello CREW Calgary Members!
We are only midway through the year and already have so much to celebrate as a Chapter. We have made some great strides in accomplishing our vision to be the association of choice in Calgary to promote and support the advancement of women as leaders across all disciplines of Calgary’s commercial real estate industry. We have hosted several sold out events this year, and have a great line up of 6 remaining events this year. You will notice that we have a mixture of members only events, tours, and professional development, and all of them designed to strengthen and expand your network.
The Membership committee has been working hard recruiting some of Calgary’s best talent, in a diversity of CRE fields and I’m so pleased to report that our Chapter is one of the fastest growing CREW Chapters in the CREW Network at 108 members! Be sure to take the opportunity to meet and welcome our new members at our upcoming events or to use the newly relaunched CREW Network site to get better acquainted with our membership. https://crewnetwork.connectedcommunity.org/home
As a Chapter we are seeking to highlight the successes of the women in Calgary’s CRE, especially those of our members. Whether it be through our members on the move articles, our member spotlight, or through social media, we like to recognize and call out these moments. As a sponsor of the Calgary Real Estate Strategy & Leasing conference, CREW Calgary had the opportunity to serve on the advisory committee. It was important for us to ensure that our members, and Calgary’s top CRE women were well represented on the agenda. There were 6 CREW Calgary members that participated at the conference and that we will be building on that momentum to encourage similar representation at the Calgary Real Estate Forum in October.
