2019 President's Message

Happy New Year!  I hope everyone had a relaxing holiday and feels recharged and ready to take on 2019!

Last year was a year of tremendous growth for CREW Calgary.  I would like to personally extend a thank you to CREW’s hard-working committee chairs/members and board members for making 2018 a success.  A special thanks to our Past President, Caroline Abougoush, for her phenomenal leadership this past year.  I have big shoes to fill as President in 2019! 

I’m very excited about our incoming 2019 board and committees, CREW’s leadership is well positioned for success and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us. 

I am pleased to report we had a very productive strategic planning session in late November, expertly facilitated by Charlene Roth-Diddams.  Committee chairs and board members were in attendance and the collective brainpower developed some outstanding initiatives which will form our next three-year plan and really take CREW Calgary to the level.   We intend to share the finalized strategic plan on the CREW Calgary website with the goal to increase transparency.

Please watch for future quarterly updates, I plan to share some of the exciting things our members and board are working on as the year progresses.
