Event Recap: Taza Development Site Tour

On September 19th, 2023, CREW Calgary members enjoyed an exclusive tour of Taza, one of the largest First Nations developments in North America, encompassing 25 million square feet of leasable space. Developed in partnership between The Tsuut'ina Nation and Canderel and guided by Tsuut'ina values, Taza aims to create a culturally integrated and self-sustaining development that the Nation can be proud of.

This bus tour offered a unique opportunity to explore the Taza site, commencing with a blessing from an Elder in support of National Truth & Reconciliation, followed by an extensive tour with Canderel where members learned about the development experience and history. The tour ended at Lennox Irish Pub, where members enjoyed networking opportunities along with drinks and appetizers.
