At CREW Calgary, volunteering with our committees is a surefire way to maximize your membership experience! Alongside the dynamic team that comprises our Board of Directors, our committee volunteers are the backbone of our CREW Calgary chapter. Together, they drive initiatives that empower and uplift women and diverse talent in commercial real estate while fostering meaningful connections.

Foundation & UCREW Committee:

Empower the Next Generation of CRE Professionals

Join us in launching the CREW Calgary UCREW Program, designed to empower university and college students across disciplines and introduce them to diverse opportunities in commercial real estate. We're seeking dedicated individuals to contribute their expertise in various key areas, including: 

• Curriculum Development Team: Shape educational content by creating student applications, developing the curriculum structure, designing presentation materials, and establishing grading rubrics.
• Marketing Initiatives Team: Spearhead marketing efforts to promote the UCREW Program. Tasks will include coordinating the social media launch, planning newsletter campaigns, and developing engaging website materials.
• Educational Institution Liaisons: Engage with faculty members to integrate UCREW information into communications, fostering collaboration between the program and academic institutions.
• Session Event Planning and Execution: Assist in organizing launch sessions for UCREW Program participants. Tasks may include identifying relevant industry speakers, planning logistics, and coordinating venue arrangements.

• Evaluation and Assessment: Contribute to continuous improvement through feedback analysis. Responsibilities may include gathering feedback from participants and faculty members, analyzing data, and making recommendations for program enhancements.

Marketing Committee:

Promote CREW Calgary and Drive Engagement

The marketing committee is instrumental in promoting CREW Calgary across various digital platforms, including social media, newsletters, and the website. Serving as the backbone for generating awareness about CREW Calgary events and initiatives, the committee collaborates closely with all CREW Calgary committees to ensure effective promotion and support. The marketing committee is currently seeking volunteers for the following roles:

• Committee Co-Chair: Work alongside an experienced committee chair to provide leadership, direction, and strategic planning. Develop the Operational Plan for the following year, including objectives, timelines, and budget.
• Gala Committee Liaison: Coordinate with the Gala Committee to ensure proper promotion and support for the annual Awards Gala. Attend meetings, facilitate communication, and assist with event planning milestones.
• General Support: Assist with a variety committee administration tasks, such as recording meeting minutes, submitting monthly reports to the Board, and maintaining the committee’s master calendar.

Sponsorship Committee:

Elevate CREW Calgary's Brand Profile

The sponsorship committee plays a crucial role in enhancing the brand profile of CREW Calgary by securing sponsorship dollars to support our outstanding programming and initiatives aimed at advancing women in commercial real estate. Through strategic partnerships with corporate sponsors, we strive for a mutually beneficial exchange of value. The sponsorship committee is currently seeking volunteers for the following roles:

• Sponsor Outreach Liaisons: Reach out to past and potential sponsors to discuss available opportunities, following a pre-approved, prepared script and process. This role offers networking opportunities and the chance to develop relationships with industry leaders by ensuring that sponsors claim their benefits throughout the year.
