Foundation & UCREW Committee:

We are excited to announce the launch of the CREW Calgary UCREW Program, an initiative designed to empower university and college students across disciplines and introduce them to diverse opportunities in the commercial real estate industry. To make this program a resounding success, we are reaching out to our esteemed community for enthusiastic volunteers who can help us lay the foundation and drive its implementation.

The UCREW Program is set to launch in 2025, and we are looking for dedicated individuals to join the Foundation and UCREW Committee and contribute their expertise to various key areas. Specifically, we require volunteers to help shape the framework of the program, including the following volunteer roles:

1. Committee Co-Chair and UCREW Lead: Work alongside an experienced committee chair to provide leadership, strategic direction, oversee UCREW initiatives, and drive the program's success. Develop the Operational Plan for the following year, including objectives, timelines, and budget. Lead curriculum development, marketing efforts, and stakeholder engagement to empower the next generation of commercial real estate professionals.

2. Curriculum Development Team: Volunteers in this role will be responsible for creating student applications, developing the curriculum structure, designing presentation materials, and establishing grading rubrics. Your expertise will be pivotal in shaping the educational content of the program and ensuring its alignment with industry standards.

3. Marketing Initiatives Team: We need volunteers who can spearhead our marketing efforts. Tasks will include coordinating the social media launch, planning newsletter campaigns, and developing engaging website materials. Your creativity and knowledge of digital marketing strategies will play a crucial role in promoting the UCREW Program and attracting prospective participants.

4. Educational Institution Liaisons: Volunteers in this role will play a vital role in engaging with faculty members from various educational institutions. Your responsibility will be to integrate UCREW information into communications and class announcements, fostering collaboration between the program and academic institutions.

5. Session Event Planning and Execution: Volunteers can contribute by assisting in organizing the inaugural three launch sessions for UCREW Program participants. Tasks may include identifying relevant industry speakers, planning logistics, and coordinating venue arrangements. Your efforts will ensure engaging and impactful experiences for students.

6. Evaluation and Assessment: Volunteers can contribute to the continuous improvement of the UCREW Program by developing evaluation frameworks and assessment tools. Responsibilities may include gathering feedback from participants and faculty members, analyzing data, and making recommendations for program enhancements.

By volunteering for the CREW Calgary UCREW Program, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of the commercial real estate industry, empower the next generation of professionals, and expand their career horizons.

If you are passionate about education, commercial real estate, and making a positive impact, we invite you to join us in this exciting venture. Together, we can create an inclusive and dynamic program that enriches the lives of students and opens doors to new opportunities.
